Quality is an added value for Satech and for this reason machinery protection series BASIC, STRONG and HEAVY are subjected to strong dynamic strength impact test from the inside out in accordance with the procedure called “hard body” or “pendulum impact test” (EN ISO 14120).
This method consists in letting fall down an object having a representative mass of the predictable impact, against the guard, object of the test equipped with a specific support. The test will be passed if deformations or cracks do not exceed the values specified to prevent hazards, if there isn’t penetration and if it doesn’t occur the easing from the attachments or from the support.
We can find a good example of what we have mentioned above in sheet metal panels, products that meet the need of the containment of ejected parts and substances, like process residues of various materials or products, when it is not possible to use mesh panels. These panels have 1.2 mm thick steel sheet and they are compliant with ISO 14120.
They can be provided in both 20×20 or 30x30mm frames, with or without inspection windows. View ports can be made with transparent polycarbonate or in adiactinic material, in order to contain UV radiation in the welding
areas. The panels are also available in shaped frameless self- supporting lightweight version.
o contain the expulsion of processing residues you can equip the panels with kick plates, the structure of which is made of 2 mm sheet steel. A peculiarity comes from the shape of the skirting, that allows a relatively ease of mounting on all Satech systems with frame.
If we consider that the company is a benchmark in workplace safety, we should also know that the most of its business focuses on parameters related to the EN ISO 13857 standard.
This is why all doors of their modular system Series ADAPTA are now featured with new panels without central crosspiece. The special shape of the mesh panels also allows an easier tightening of the hinge screws and fitting will be consequently semplified.
