DMA-XPAND-150 replaces the now-obsolete DMA-FOVE-15 part number.The physical item is identical.

Xpand is the field-of-view expansion technology for the DataMan 300 series of barcode readers. Xpand enables retail distribution, parcel and postal applications to be solved using fewer readers, which reduces installation time, setup duration and overall cost.

Xpand increases the number of pixels across the belt by reformatting the field-of-view to make better use of the image sensor pixels. With Xpand technology, the field-of-view for a single DataMan 300 can be increased by more than 50%.
