Firmware Update Cable
The firmware update cable is used, as the name would suggest, to update firmware on an 8700DX reader using RS-232 communication. It provides an RS-232 (reader side) to USB (PC side) connection that allows a user to connect in Setup Tool. It is NOT recommended for general purpose use, only for firmware updates.
