The ILX69 PROFIBUS Slave module is an in-chassis PROFIBUS DPV1 Slave for CompactLogix, supporting cyclic PROFIBUS I/O data and acyclic messaging. Explicit ladder logic CIP message blocks provide slave status diagnostic data and the ability for acyclic messaging.The ILX69 interface appears to the CompactLogix controller as a standard I/O module allowing it to be configured via Studio/RSLogixâ¢5000. The cyclic PROFIBUS I/O data can be configured in Studio/RSLogix⢠5000, or configuration can be transferred from the Master to the slave module. The Ethernet interface allows for remote diagnostic and troubleshooting. Complete program examples for simple and quick start-up are available.
