The electromechanical cylinder EPCC with ball screw drive enables precise and rapid positioning together with a quiet spindle operation. Another advantage is the cylinder dimension. Thanks to the compact dimensions it is possible to optimize installation space.
The handling force extends from 75 to 1000N, while the speed is estimated up to 600 mm / s and the accelerations up to 15 m / s. Low internal friction guarantees the great flexibility of assembly of the stepper motor with axial or parallel kit.
Flexibility, the key feature of this product, can also be identified in position sensing. A position magnet for position sensing is integrated in the spindle nut, while the proximity sensor can be freely positioned on the three sides of the cylinder.
The 4 sizes of the cylinder make it very suitable for a wide range of applications thanks to the non-rotating, plain-bearing guided piston rod and a stroke of up to 500 mm!
It is also important to underline the high efficiency of the ball screw drive: the minimal basic load torque allows use of a smaller motor. This results in a reduction of both size and weight as well as the power consumption of the system!
